Technical Draftsman

Job description

As a technical draughtsman, you are responsible for the technical documentation of our machinery. You ensure high-quality drawings for both new and existing machines so that they can be produced, maintained, and used correctly.

Your specific tasks:

  • Developing (partial) concepts and (partial) designs;
  • Creating detailed and construction drawings;
  • Prepare drawings for new machines;
  • Modify existing drawings based on changes to machines;
  • Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure that parts are manufactured correctly;
  • Ensuring that the cut parts are checked for quality;
  • Ensure good cooperation and consultation with the workshop;
  • Stay in touch with the supplier of the specialized drawing software.
  • You will be supported in your role by a senior Technical Draughtsman.

Profile

What is expected of you?

  • You preferably have a technical education and experience with Solidworks;
  • Knowledge of revision management and experience with a PDM system are a significant advantage;
  • You have strong technical insight and consider quality and safety to be of paramount importance:
  • You work accurately, take responsibility, and communicate easily with colleagues: a true team player.
  • You have an excellent command of Dutch, both spoken and written; a basic knowledge of English and/or French is an asset:
  • You are proficient in MS Office (Excel);
  • You have the ambition to grow with a rapidly expanding company and immerse yourself in our technology;
  • You can easily get to our office in Meer.
